Hi all!

My name is Calynn Starcher and this will be my fourth year at FIA. I graduated from Kent State University with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education in 2016 and I’ve been in the classroom ever since. I have worked in various grades in both the Cuyahoga Falls City School District and the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District. 1st Grade is definitely my favorite!

My husband Tyler and I live in Stow with our son, Owen, and we’re expecting a baby girl in November! As a family, we love playing with our puppy Jackson, exploring new playgrounds, and hiking in the CVNP.

I consider myself an approachable person so please feel comfortable asking me any questions you may have. If I do not know the answer, I will do my best to help you find it. However, I do encourage you to save this handout because it may answer many of your questions later on. We have 16 total first graders this year. I am thrilled to be playing such a huge role in your child's growth and learning this year. I can’t wait to learn all about what they are into. In the meantime, here’s a little about me:
